Racing Aeolus Den Helder 2022 Results

After years of abstinence, the Racing Aeolus competition in Den Helder is now back! The results of this year's race are finally out! We are proud of our effort and we are not stopping there since we will be back in force for the next competition in 2023! A big congratulations to all our members who joined the adventure by following the west wind and who gave heart and soul to Chinook! Thank you to all our partners who have supported us throughout this year, as in all the other years! Thanks!

Unveiling of Chinook 10

Once again, the members of Chinook, the wind-powered car, are proud to present their new vehicle, Chinook 10, during the launch party which took place last Thursday, July 14th. The club's students tried to push innovation even further with the aim of defending their world championship title next August, during the Racing Aeolus race, organized by the Dutch foundation Wind Energy Events. We've worked hard and can't wait to bring the cup home again!

Forces AVENIR Gala 2019

Some Chinook members represented us at the Forces AVENIR Gala for our nomination. We were finalist in the Environment category and we received a grant of 2000$ !
A Strong Start for 2019
2019
2019 began with two evenings highlighting the club's activity in the school and the field of environment. At the annual Molson Dinner from the École de technologie supérieure organized by the student association, five of our members received, on behalf of the club, the "Best Shot of the Year" award. This award was received in recognition of our first place at the ''Racing Aeolus'' competition and the new world record set by Chinook 8. Our presence was also noticed at the GRAMIE's Gala for the environment, organized by the non lucrative prganisation GRAME. This soirée was the perfect time to highlight the environmental achievements that were made over the last year.
